Introducing the Daikin Optional Scaffolding Care Plan, providing scaffolding support for your air conditioner throughout the warranty period. We arrange scaffolding erection, speeding up the repair process and relieving you of any worries.

  • Customers who purchase designated Daikin residential split type air conditioners (FTXM / FTKC / FTHM / FTKA / FTXA / FTXS / FTXJ / FTKD / FTXD series) will be eligible to join the Optional Scaffolding Care Plan after completing online warranty registration within 30 days from the date of purchase.
  • Within the 1-year warranty period, each set of split type air conditioner is entitled to up to 2 times claim on the scaffolding cost. The maximum amount for each claim is HKD3,000 and the excess amount shall be borne by the customer.
  • Every Daikin residential split type air conditioner joining this plan will come with a voucher worth HKD200. This includes a HKD100 voucher for air conditioner cleaning and HKD100 for joining maintenance contract.

FAQs
How to make a claim?
  1. The user discovers an issue with his/her air conditioner.
  2. The Daikin-appointed service team confirms that scaffolding is required for service job.
  3. Daikin issues a quotation to the user for the scaffolding fee:
    1. For scaffolding fee below HKD3,000, Daikin will cover the cost.
    2. For scaffolding fee exceeding HKD3,000, the user is responsible for the excess amount.(In both cases, the user must sign the quotation)
  4. After the user signs the quotation, Daikin will arrange designated scaffolding company to erect the scaffolding.
  5. The service team carries out inspection and service job.
  6. If the service team confirms that the failure is caused by a defect in the product, the customer does not need to submit any further documents.
  7. If the service team confirms that the failure is caused by non-covered items, the customer is responsible for the full scaffolding fee (please refer to the Optional Scaffolding Care Plan Terms & Conditions for details).

Why is the option to join the Optional Scaffolding Care Plan not available when registering for warranty via iDaikin?

To join the Optional Scaffolding Care Plan, the following two conditions must be met at the same time:

  1. The indoor unit must be one of the following series: FTXM / FTKC / FTHM / FTKA / FTXA / FTXS / FTXJ / FTKD / FTXD; and
  2. The online warranty registration must be completed via iDaikin within 30 days from the date of purchasing the air conditioner.
